Amazing Stay at Talbot – Pineview

We arrived to Talbot-Pineview on Labour Day Monday for some much needed R&R and an Early Anniversary Week away & we were absolutely impressed. When we walked in, the first thought was how clean this rental was presented. The owners have done an incredible build on this Cottage, the workmanship is a WOW factor! They have thought of absolutely everything you could imagine, including toiletries, bedding, towels, first aid kit, Fire TV, Bluetooth Speaker, Games, Books, DVDs and seriously every utensil you could possibly imagine and cookware too!! We cant forget the inclusions for your Furbabies even though we didn’t need it for our stay, we certainly noticed that too. The grounds are well taken care of, they provided all you needed for Grilling, and an Outdoor Fire to end your day. We had the opportunity to venture out from the Cottage to Lake Simcoe, a mere 12min drive, the Local Grocery store is about 14min away. There is also a LCBO and Beer Variety Store that is just a minute drive away. You are not too far from other local sites including Orillia or Fenlon Falls to do some touring. We also loved the fact that even coming from Niagara we were only a 2.5 hour drive away and it was very easy to get too. We had the opportunity to kayak around the Island on the Talbot River and Canal Lake. We also loved the Dock area it is very sturdy, actually quite large and provides you with a Table and Chairs, Umbrella and a Ladder to take a quick dip. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery every single day and evening. There was minimal boat traffic that we noticed so not to worry about excessive noise or boats speeding by as you are in a no wake zone. We would highly recommend this Cottage for a Couples Getaway, a Small Family Adventure or if you are renting the adjacent Cottage Talbot – Birchview as well for a couple families to get away together. We hope that those coming after us will enjoy this Beautiful Property and take the care of it as the owners have provided for their guests. We give this Cottage more then 5 Stars!!!
