COVID-19 Frequently Asked Questions

Updated February 14th, 2022

With continuing uncertainty regarding potential future restrictions, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance at the time of booking.

As of February 17th, 2022  there are no longer any capacity limits on cottage rentals other than those shown on each listing.

Our standard cancellation policy applies as follows as defined in our Terms and Conditions of Rental

5. Cancellation Policy & Changing a Booking

Once a reservation has been accepted and confirmed, a cancellation can only be made in accordance with the terms below: ·

If the period of rental can be re-booked, a refund for the period re-rented, less a cancellation fee of $150 (plus HST) will be issued.

If any part of the rental period cannot be re-booked, the Renter will forfeit all monies paid for that period.

Once a reservation has been accepted by The Agent the reservation can only be changed to another cottage by treating the original reservation as a cancellation as per above.

If the provincial government specifically bans short-term cottage rentals and you are unable to travel to your cottage location, you will be entitled to a full refund (less our booking fee).  The travel ban must include the start date of your booking period for a refund to be eligible.

Our standard cancellation policy will apply with a Covid diagnosis as with any other medical situation.

We strongly recommend you take out insurance to cover the cancellation of your travel plans if a member of your group becomes ill.

If you have a booking, our standard cancellation policies currently applies and we will make every effort to re-book the dates of your stay.

Please contact your travel insurance company for information on cover due to illness.
