About This Cottage

This superb A-frame cottage with its excellent waterfront location on Cameron Lake, one of the premiere inland lakes on the Bruce Peninsula, great grassed lot, and surrounded by a bevy of flowers and other plants, provides the perfect setting for your vacation.

The unique shape may seem odd at first, but upon entering, it is easy to feel more than comfortable here. The space has been efficiently organized to great effect. Drawn together by a circular staicase and stone fireplace, the kitchen, dining, and living area set a cosy and inviting space for visitors. The first floor also features a bedroom and two-piece bathroom, while on the second floor, there are an additional two bedrooms and three-piece bathroom. The entire cottage is decorated in a consistent and very appealing theme.

Outside, follow the walkway through the plants and flowers down to the waterfront of Cameron Lake, featuring a sandy beach, and a long dock to take eager swimmers out to deeper water (although they may be tempted to simply relax with a cool drink at the table located halfway out). The water is typically warm in the summer, as well. The owners have provided a small aluminium boat, a canoe, a pedal boat, and a number of personal flotation devices for your enjoyment. The waterfront area also includes a fire pit, with plenty of seating in the form of chairs and benches available. Canoeists may enjoy excursions to nearby Cyprus Lake and the national park. Planning out a day on the water with a fire at night happens naturally here.

This welcoming and well-furnished cottage will provide guests with a wonderful ambience on their vacation.

Please note that the dock is removed for the season on the Labour Day Weekend.
