About This Cottage
After a short drive from Toronto you will be greeted with a wonderful welcome at this perfectly presented property on the majestic shores of Lake Simcoe. The sound of the waves lapping at the shore and the sight of the sun setting over the lake are sure to instantly drain the stress away as you by the campfire to enjoy sundowners and smores as the fireworks of the starry night sky light up the heavens.
From the moment you arrive you will find that the owners have taken great care with the property's appointments. From the pool table and HDTV up in the loft to the newly refinished swing seat hanging from a limb of a shady tree in the yard. Comfortable beds and modern furniture will be sure to keep your group comfortable during your stay.
There are three levels to the property. So we will start in the loft. With games, HDTV with DVD player and movies, pool table and books this is a great spot to enjoy some quality time together in the evenings and bad weather. On the main level you will find three of the four bedrooms with an en-suite in the master bedroom. The kitchen is well-appointed and combined with the open-plan dining room and living room your group will be able to enjoy magnificent meals and time together in front of the wood stove.
Outside ‘4 Seasons’ has an amazing large grassy lot to enjoy outdoor activities or simply enjoy catching some sun on the sun loungers on the deck. At the waterfront you will be able to walk right into the water from the grassy lawn, but there are a few rocks between you and a cool swim. Once past the bottom is a sand and pebble mix.
From here you will have a great base to take a day trip to Casino Rama and take in a show or maybe shoot a round of golf at any of the local golf courses. The Trent-Severn waterway enters Lake Simcoe just south of the property in the village of Talbot. In summer this is a great spot to have a picnic and watch the boats coming and going as they float on the waterway. In the winter the area is a hub for ice fishing and several main snowmobile trails.
With all the features you might need in a perfect vacation this property is sure to please and leave you wanting to come back again and again.
