Cottage Rentals Amongst a Wealth of Shining Waters
Lakefield
Lakefield is a pretty town on the shores of Lake Katchewanooka. It’s the hub for cottagers on Stoney and Clear Lakes and a summer weekend will see the town buzzing with visitors. Browse the antique and craft stores and stop for an ice cream at Hamblins Family Restaurant on the bridge. Stroll along the riverside and enjoy the historic buildings and pleasant gardens.
On the Trent Severn System, this village bustles in the summer with boat traffic and visitors who stop by the waterfront restaurants and visit the art gallery. The Buckhorn Fine Art Festival in August attracts artists to showcase their work in this lovely setting.
