The owners of Oastler Vista have renovated this cottage with YOU in mind. This delightful 3-bedroom cottage is perfect for those looking for all the right things - clear water, a sandy beach, a clean, well-equipped cottage complete with all the amenities you need and wonderful lake views.
Oastler Vista has 3 bedrooms and comfortably sleeps 6 people (maximum 5 adults) - perfect for a medium-size family. Each level has a living/seating area with full-size picture windows overlooking the lakefront. The upper level has an open concept kitchen/living/dining area, as well as 2 bedrooms and a 4-piece bath. A spiral staircase leads to a lower level, where you will find a large family/games room, a 3rd bedroom and additional 3-piece bathroom. (Please note that the spiral staircase is fairly narrow, so very large individuals may experience a difficult descent).
The grounds of Oastler Vista offer a variety of pleasures. An outcropping of Canadian Shield granite dominates the area near the driveway, and a large grass area is great for games of tag, badminton or tossing a ball back and forth. A fire pit is here, of course, for the campfires and marshmallow roasts essential to the cottage experience. The waterfront is where its at with any cottage, and Oastler Vista is not shy in that respect. The lawn area extends to a sandy play area/beach with a shallow sandy walk in. This area is great for toddlers and those wishing to simply cool their feet. The lake drops off after that, and deeper water swimming is great from the dock. A pair of kayaks are available for those wishing to explore the lake further.
The cottage is located close to Parry Sound, which has everything you will need in terms of necessities. Those keen on breakfast outings will be pleased to note that a Golden Griddle Restaurant is just a couple of minutes away.
We think that Oastler Vista may just become an annual habit for a few lucky families!
