What's behind the big yellow door? A world of relaxation and a surprising amount of space!
Whitestone Lake is set near the quaint little town of Dunchurch, about halfway between Parry Sound and Sundridge. While you are a short drive to amenities, the rolling topography, majestic pines and dark starry nights will tell you that you are definitely "getting away from it all".
With 5 bedrooms (each with a charm of its own) and two family rooms set on 2 levels, the Big Yellow Door is a spot for larger or extended families to share for a week at the lake without stepping on each others' toes.
The owners have renovated this cottage extensively, and the upgrades provide you with a clean, comfortable stay.
Four bedrooms are equipped with queen-sized beds, including the master that looks out over the deck and lake, and a fifth bedroom has a set of bunk beds, for an overall sleeping capacity of 6-10 people. The airy kitchen and dining areas are spacious and well-equipped and a washer and dryer are included for your use.
Outside the cottage is a deck with a beautiful view of the lake, complete of course, with a barbeque and furniture for getting down to serious relaxing.
The waterfront is grass, with a shallow entry to the water and a depth of 5 feet at dock's end. To the left of the dock there may be some weeds, but to the right is a weed free bottom, with a soft sand entry typical of many inland lakes. A canoe is included so you can explore the lake at leisure.
A wood fireplace in the living room and an electric fireplace in the family room provide warmth and coziness for cooler evenings, or in the Winter, when you may want to take advantage of the Ontario Snowmobile Network of trails which run close by.
The Big Yellow Door awaits - open it and step into your next vacation!
