The twin lakes are quiet and don't suffer the noise of large boats so often an irritation on larger lakes. Previous guests have commented on their enjoyment of the sandy beach and shallow entry for their small children, while the clear waters of Ripple Lake are great for swimming and diving. The delightful lawned garden is great for sitting and viewing both lakes, while guests will enjoy stargazing from the lower garden cedar hot tub.
Inside, the cottage is light and airy. For those who want to sit and read or just be social, there is a comfortable living room, while the family/TV room located in the open plan area overlooking Palette Lake makes a convivial location for dining and entertainment.
