This newer cottage offers everything for a comfortable vacation. The wrap around decking offers seating areas for sun or shade all day long, and a ramp to the main floor makes it wheelchair accessible - a feature that is evident throughout the cottage. There are two well furnished bedrooms on the upper level, one with a private deck and ensuite bathroom, and the second with a queen and a day bed. The spacious kitchen and dining area gives more than enough room to cater for up to 8 people. The sunken living room with leather seating, wood burning fireplace, and entertainment system creates a great venue for enjoying family time on cooler evenings.
The lower level has three further bedrooms, another bathroom, and a famiy room with a table tennis/pool table and a two-person sauna.
Outside the cottage there is a beach volleyball court, and across the cottage road, the waterside offers seating areas and more space for ball games and horseshoes. There are steps leading down to the dock and the crystal clear water which is shallow and hard underfoot at the shoreline, deepening fairly quickly. A swimming platform is great for jumping and diving. The cottage is situated on a bend in the river making it seem as if you have your own small lake to enjoy, so take the canoe or kayaks and explore. In winter, with snowmobile trails close by, we know this is going to be a very popular location.We love this cottage and know it is going to be a favourite for our guests.
For shopping, restaurants, golf, and more activities, the town of Bracebridge is just 15 minutes drive. There is so much to do in this area, that if you must tear yourself away from this great property, you don't have to travel too far. |
