Located on the outskirts of Huntsville, ‘The Inspired Partridge’ is a great addition to our cottage collection. Situated in the heart of the Hidden Valley Ski Area and minutes away from a great beach on Peninsula Lake this property has year round appeal and has the warmth and cozy feeling of a winter ski chalet combined with the space and ability to accommodate big family fun.
The interior of the cottage is typical of a classic Swiss chalet with a big fireplace and large dining table as the focal point of the property. Ideal for feeding large hungry families as well as allowing plenty of space for multiple games of Euchre and scrabble while escaping to heat of the summer or the sharp bite of winter. The spacious bedrooms are equipped with larger families in mind and there are plenty of washrooms. The inside hot tub also lends itself to soaking away the aches from a day out cycling or hiking in Algonquin Park, skiing or snowboarding.
The good-sized kitchen has mostly new appliances and is well equipped all round so catering for larger groups is no problem, while the lounge has plenty of relaxation room to put your feet up while the kids spread out, watch movies or play games in the family room.
The beach is a 5 minute walk away or a short drive if you are downloading a big group with beach gear, and the area is shared only with other property owners who are members of the ski resort. This means the beach is generally quiet with lots of room for your group to spread out and have some fun. With a shallow sandy walk- out it is a wonderful spot to enjoy on the shores of Peninsula Lake.
The cottage is ideal for the golfing and winter sports enthusiasts with Deerhurst Resort and the Delta Grandview ‘Mark O’Meara’ Golf Course just minutes away. For the winter sports stars, Hidden Valley Ski Resort is on the doorstep, in fact you can ski right onto the hill from the cottage. Rock Ridge Park in Huntsville offers year round tubing fun.
