There is something exclusive about having your own island property, and Beechwood has that one-of-a-kind feeling. It's a two minute boat ride from the marina and as you approach the off-shore rock with the Beechwood Island sign, you'll just know you've arrived somewhere very special. This rock has a dock and diving/swimming platform, along with seating for just relaxing and surveying your island empire. As you moor your boat at one of the slips you'll see lots of grassy space for play, the sauna cabin to the right, the boathouse with sunbathing deck to one side, and the cottage ahead of you. But, before you explore the island paradise, here's what to expect in the cottage.
A neatly furnished sunroom greets your entrance to the property for evenings spent sipping a few glasses of wine and enjoying the views. The front door opens onto an elegant living space with open fireplace, but we felt more time would be spent in the bar and games room off the living room. Here, you'll find a room with table tennis and a piano (perhaps for a bit of plink plonk to go with the ping pong!). Further on the full size wet bar overlooks a big room with games tables, a pool table and darts board area. There's plenty of family fun to be had here.
The dining room has a large table to seat the family and the designated cook will not be disappointed by the fully equipped kitchen. You'll see the Beechwood Island motif everywhere - we think there should be T-Shirts as well!
Bedroom accommodation is spacious, with the master on the main floor having an ensuite bathroom. Upstairs are five further bedrooms, each one uniquely decorated with delightful paintwork. The bathroom is a masterpiece in itself, we'll wait for you to see that for yourself.
