Pack up the family in the car, leave city life and head to a relaxing cottage under a canopy of trees, located just a short walk from the beach. Sound good? Woodgreen Lane beckons you to spend some time unwinding in this relaxing oasis at Woodland Beach.
The main floor of Woodgreen Lane has everything Mom and Dad need - the kitchen and dining areas and bathroom, as well as the master bedroom and living room (note - the fireplace shown in the photos is unfortunately non-operational).
Upstairs, you will find most of the sleeping quarters, with an additional 4 bedrooms plus a den with cable TV/DVD player for movie nights. On this level, you will truly feel like you are in the treetops, as shade and filtered sunlight create a pleasing atmosphere in every room.
Outside, a deck and barbecue allow the essential cookouts you associate with cottaging and there is room for toddlers to run about under the trees. The indoor dining seats 6, so outdoor meals will be convenient as well as refreshing for larger groups.
Just 200 metres away is Woodland Beach, with sandy beaches and the clear blue waters that make Georgian Bay famous. The community has newly constructed decking and a picnic area under the trees in this area, so if the full sun is a little much, you may wish to simply enjoy a relaxing time with a book and a cool drink while watching the more active ones in your group splash in the waves.
Please note that the decking and beach shown in the photos are about 200 metres from the cottage, around a corner. The beach is not visible from the cottage, however.
Also an invitingly short walk away is the local convenience store, where you can restock any of the basics you need, as well make an ice cream run once or twice (or more) during your stay.
If all the relaxation is too much for you, the bustling tourist attractions of Wasaga Beach are just few kilometres away. Plenty to do here for everyone, from parks to mini-golf to shopping and more. Just slightly further afield is Historic Midland or Collingwood.
Woodgreen Lane is a spot to kick back and let the stress of the real world melt away, and it's just 90 minutes away from the GTA!
