Although not on its own waterfront, the secluded and beautifully kept public access beach is a few steps away where many hours could be spent bare foot on the grass enjoying a picnic or dipping a toe in the warm, shallow sandy waters of Lake Simcoe. This is perfect for small children.
The owners of this cottage have gone to great lengths to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of their guests. Not only are the humans well taken care of but should ‘Rover’ be invited to the cottage there is a fully fenced in yard for him to chase butterflies and bathe in the sun.
The cottage is on approximately ¼ of an acre with a wrap around deck with plenty of room to spread out on a sun lounger or enjoy each others company over a tasty BBQ dinner. The interior has charm, with 3 bedrooms and 1 bedroom / office, all well furnished and comfortable. The galley style kitchen is spacious and well kept to enable any chef to magic up a culinary delight.
The waterfront at the beach has a nice shallow entry with pebbles on the shore line but quickly turning to sand a few feet from shore. During winter this area offers abundant ice fishing and there are several locations nearby to rent ice huts for a few days. A wealth of local snowmobile trails make this a great base for a winter break.. For the summer water sport fanatic, the local boat put-in is less than 2 minutes drive and there are several local marinas that rent boats and seadoos.
This wonderful vacation is just a short commute away. Imagine, while all the other cottagers are sitting in traffic line-ups on cottage country highways, you’ll be on the deck with the sun on your face, enjoying that first refreshing drink while the succulent smells from the BBQ carry on the warm evening breeze.
