tire of the view from the deck of this neat cottage.
A sandy beach, blue water as far as you can see, and
amazing sunsets from the westerly aspect.
This is the venue for a real beach vacation. Lots of
sandy beach for the kids to play; clear water for swimming
(it’s very rocky so bring swim shoes); a great
deck for morning coffee, evening cocktails, or for just
relaxing and taking in the view. We just love it.
Inside the cottage, the owners have been busy renovating
so you’ll find it freshly decorated, with a new
bathroom and updated kitchen. The spacious lounge and
dining room has sliding doors to the beachfront deck
and to the patio area at the front of the house. There
is a bedroom off the dining area and a feature spiral
staircase that leads up to a loft room (inacessible
to guests).
A hallway from the living room leads to the kitchen
and bathroom with two further bedrooms off. The master
bedroom is on the beach side so you can drop off to
sleep to the gentle sound of waves lapping on the shore.
Historic Penetanguishene is just 15 minutes away for
exploring the Discovery Harbor region, shopping and
restaurants. For a little more action, Wasaga Beach
is a mere 30 minutes drive, and there are plenty of
trails for hiking and biking in the vicinity.
