Beautiful Paudash Lake is host to this great cottage and boat house offering outstanding accommodation in a stunning location.
There is a lot to like about this 'tucked away' cottage so lets start with the totally magnificent view across Paudash Lake. The cottage commands one of the best lake views we have seen and its easy to imagine sitting out on the deck and just soaking up the sun (even on a cold and snow covered day!). Of course you can get even closer to the water on the boathouse deck or dock.
With some sand beach and shallow water for wading, and jumping and diving from the dock, there's a variety of water entry to suit everyone.
The bright and sunny interior has lots of pine and glass to complement the open plan living area and the cathedral ceilings give it a feeling of space and light.. The well equipped kitchen has a breakfast bar making meal preparation a breeze, and the lounge with its comfortable furniture will be a haven at the end of a busy outdoors day. We particularly liked the large loft area which will be a great place for the kids to hang out while mom and dad are chilling out downstairs. Three good sized bedrooms and a bathroom complete this lovely accommodation.
Getting to this wonderful location is easy - under 3 hours from Toronto. And, once here, there is plenty to see and do. Silent Lake Provincial Park is just 10 minutes drive. The attractive riverside town of Bancroft is nearby with its art galleries, craft shops and restaurants. But, if you simply want to chill out and enjoy, you may never want to leave this cottage. We suspect many people never will!
