We liked a lot about this spacious, light and airy cottage, from the layout and decor to the large expanse of lawn and westerly exposure. It's in a great area too - with the riverside town of Campbellford just a ten minute drive. This is bound to be a popular location.

Enter this lovely home and you'll realise immediately you have found a delightful property for your vacation. Freshly decorated and comfortably furnished throughout, the rooms are large and light-filled giving a feeling of space. The upper mezzanine floor has three bedrooms, once of which has an ensuite bathroom and lake views. The spacious main level has a hallway with a full bathroom and the laundry room, and leads into a living and dining area with high ceilings, large windows and sliding doors to the deck. There's an additional bedroom on this level with a double and single bunk over.

The kitchen sits between the dining area and great room and is well equipped with a good range of appliances, dishes and glassware. Another full bathroom is off the kitchen. The comfortable great room has the satellite TV and additional sliding doors to the deck.

Outside, the decking overlooks the lawns and lake and is a delightful venue for sitting and relaxing and watching fabulous sunsets.. A firepit closer to the water is for spending starlit evenings toasting marshmallows and wieners. And finally, there's the lake for boating, swimming and fishing. What more can you ask for?

The lawn runs down to the shoreline where the water is about 2 ft deep and slightly soft underfoot. It is shallow for quite a way out. There is a dock for fishing or just sitting and watching the spectacular sunsets.

With Campbellford just 10 minutes away for shopping and dining, you don't have to go far to stock up or to eat out. The beautiful beaches at Presquile Provincial Park are less than an hour, and visits to the pretty towns of Cobourg or Warkworth are also within easy reach. All in all, this is a superb location for a vacation by the water and we are delighted to offer this lovely property to our guests.

Waterfront

The water is about 2ft at the shoreline and has a sandy bottom. It is shallow for around 50ft out into the water before gradually deepening.
