A wonderful cottage that is bound to leave long lasting memories with its' guests, with its sandy beach and deep access at the ens of the dock into the clear waters of Horseshoe Lake. Well furnished and equipped, the property has a warmth that some cottages just can’t match.
With several different spots to view the water from, you can while away the hours sitting and relaxing having as much privacy as you want. Try out .the big upper deck where we felt many evenings could be spent with friends or family, enjoying the lazy hours at the end of a day, or sit on the waterfront under the canopy, or in the ‘Muskoka’ room, or by the fire-pit! Well, take your pick - it's a great cottage with lots of room for all.
Inside, the four bedrooms are well furnished and decorated in country cottage style . We particularly liked the dining area overlooking the gardens and the water, and the ambiance of the living room for watching TV or playing games in an evening. The kitchen is really well equipped for meal preparation and comes with all the appliances you would expect to find in a family cottage.
Messing about on the water couldn't be easier here either- a sandy beach with shallow entry into the water makes for easy swimming right from the dock, and a canoe, paddleboat and 2 kayaks for getting about, or going nowhere in particular, are available. This is also a great spot for fall with hiking and biking trails close-by. All the maps you can need are available just down the road at the Minden tourism office to get you back safely!
This is such a beautiful place with plenty to see and do or do nothing at all.
