Located in the new Kingsview cottage development just south of Coboconk, this executive home offers the best in waterfront living with shared beach and a private marina at an affordable price.
On the easterm shores of Balsam Lake; off Hwy 35 and only 1hr 20 from Toronto, this cottage will provide the perfect getaway for a large, or extended family. The quiet and elegant cottage community has its own docking slips with a sandy beach and swimming dock. There's a games pavilion, volleyball court, horseshoes and shared non-motorised watercraft for the active types and shaded areas for enjoying the lake views.
The Crown at Kingsview is a short walk to the waterfront action and has a good sized lawn area for sitting and enjoying evening campfires. The deck at the rear of the cottage backs onto woodland which gives a nice amount of privacy.
The cottage is newly built so everything in it is good quality and brand new for 2010. The main floor has two bedrooms with the master having an ensuite bathroom. The kitchen island provides a gathering space and will no doubt be the venue for many evenings of conversation and good cooking while the open plan dining room, living room and kitchen provide a very social environment. The living area has Satellite TV and full DVD, VCR and stereo system.
Two more bedrooms on the lower floor together with a third bathroom make this a great property for two families or one extended family wanting separate and private space. Alternatively, let the kids occupy the lower level while grown-ups enjoy the luxury of the main floor.
It's a short walk to the shared beach, swimming dock and boat slip, and if you bring your own boat or rent one, you have a private slip to tie it to. The lake has some of the best swimming in cottage country due to its clarity and the shallow entry makes it suitable for children to wade and play at the shoreline. Balsam Lake supports a great selection of Ontario’s most sought after fresh water fish and will please the anglers in your group.
If you wish to venture further away from this waterfront paradise, you can take a pleasant day trip to Fenelon Falls to explore the quaint shops and restaurants on the main street and watch the boats pass on the Trent Severn waterway. Balsam Lake Provincial Park is another location for a day out and has beaches and picnic areas.
We think this will be a very popular addition to our portfolio. The easy drive from Toronto makes it very accessible and once here....well... you may never want to leave.
