out for families and groups of friends alike. Great
swimming and fishing too.
The beautiful south-facing waterfront will be a magnet
for all who have the good fortune to spend their vacation
at this lovely cottage. The sandy beach and shallow
walkout is just great for smaller children, whilst the
dock just invites the fisherman in the group to dangle
a rod whilst enjoying the sunny outlook. The firepit
is set into the stone patio at the water's edge so plenty
of evenings will be spent here star gazing and hearing
the gentle lap of water on the shore.
Inside the cottage it's clear this is a loved and well-cared for cottage. The open plan kitchen/dining area lead around to a cosy living room with comfortable seating and an open fireplace for cooler evenings. Windows across the length of the living area overlook the deck and waterfront and there's a side door for access onto the deck, where the barbecue is, of course. A double bedroom and the bathroom are off a hallway leading from the kitchen.
Up the stairs from the lounge are two more bedrooms, both with their own decks. The twin room overlooks the lake, whilst another bedroom on the upper floor has a d ouble bed and a twin.
This is a great location for those looking for a return to traditional cottage living. You won't find top of the range appliances or acres of dry wall but you will be rewarded by a warmly furnished and comfortably equipped lakeside cottage. |
