Explore the forest, swim, canoe and kayak across the lake, listen to the birds, watch the deer graze at the shoreline, and enjoy a beautiful cottage as well! Nestled within the landscape of the Peterborough Crown Preserve, this is a very special place and we know our guests here will love it from the moment they arrive.

This wonderfully private location is home to a spacious cottage on three levels in very natural surroundings. Outside, guests of all ages will enjoy the volleyball/badminton court, while the youngsters will have fun in the tree fort. And of course, the focus of any cottage vacation is the waterfront, and there's plenty to share. The shoreline is rocky but swimmers and waders can enter the water from the shore or dive from the dock and swim out to the platform which is anchored further out. The paddleboat, canoe and 3 kayaks offer plenty of opportunity for all the family to get out on the water.

Inside, the cottage has lots of space for a large family to spread out and have some privacy. The main floor has an open-plan kitchen and dining area with a comfortable living room to one side with full-length windows across the waterside offering wonderful views of the water and giving a light and airy feeling to the cottage. Two of the five bedrooms are on this floor along with a bathroom.

The upper floor has a loft bedroom overlooking the dining area, a spacious master bedroom and a big bathroom with whirlpool bath and a separate shower. Stairs down from the main floor lead to a large and comfortable family room with table tennis, a 58" TV and a propane fireplace. A queen bedroom and a bathroom with shower completes the accommodation on this level.

We are delighted to add this cottage to our portfolio, not only because it's a great property, but because of the location in the beautiful north Kawartha region. Close to hiking and mountain biking trails, provincial parks, canoe routes, golf courses, and delightful towns for art and craft hunting, there is plenty to do if you feel the need to leave the cottage. Book early; the available weeks in this cottage won't be around for long.
