This is a wonderful 1600 sq ft cottage/home for those who like to have stores and restaurants close by while enjoying the benefits of waterfront living. The delightful lakefront town of Bridgenorth is within walking distance and for larger stores and facilities of a large town, Peterborough is a mere 10 minute drive.
On the water here, you can swim, boat and fish to your heart's content, or simply relax on the huge deck overlooking the activity on the lake. The water is shallow at the shoreline for the younger members of the party, gradually deepening for better swimmers.
The interior of the property is as comfortable as it is elegant. The kitchen, dining and living areas stretch across the lakeside with picture windows offering views wherever you are. Sliding doors open from the kitchen onto the deck where you will no doubt spend most of your time. The three bedrooms are spacious and well furnished with good quality mattresses on each bed. The master benefits from an ensuite bathroom and satellite TV. Another bathroom is alongside the second and third bedrooms.
A comfortable lower level family room with sofa seating, a propane fireplace and another TV will suit those who want to get away from the action on the main floor. There's a door to outside from this room too.
Chemong Lake is known for good fishing and boating. Taking a trip into Peterborough to enjoy a Festival of Lights Concert could also be a highlight of your trip. Whatever your vacation pleasure, you are sure to find it here.
