Situated on the southern shore of Sturgeon Lake, the Cottage is easily accessible from anywhere within the GTA and is just an easy 80 minute drive from either downtown Toronto or Pearson International Airport.
The exterior of this attractive Cottage is lawned front and rear with a few mature trees offering some degree of shade. The Cottage’s expansive main and separate waterfront decks face north-west, offering magnificent views across Sturgeon Lake and are ideally situated to allow guests to enjoy the glorious sunsets for which Cottage Country is famed. The Cottage’s clean waterfront will be a big hit with all the family and the gently sloping entry makes it an ideal playground for the very young. There are small pebbles underfoot so water shoes are highly recommended.
Inside, Casa Abundancia has a welcoming, bright and airy feel to it and the 5 bedrooms spread around the Cottage offer great flexibility of accommodation. The upstairs master bedroom offers a self-contained retreat with king-size bed, an en-suite 2-piece bathroom, TV/DVD and log effect propane fire. The remaining 4 bedrooms are all located on the main floor together with the main bathroom complete with shower stall and Jacuzzi tub. The well-equipped open-plan kitchen and spacious dining area overlook the lounge, from which the large picture windows overlook the main deck, rear lawn and lakefront.
Within an easy stroll of the Cottage are a convenience store, Marina with attached Bait Shop and a small play park. There’s also plenty to see and do in the local area with the picturesque towns of Lindsay and Bobcaygeon both just over 15 minutes away and the larger city of Peterborough and its numerous restaurants, shopping malls and tourist attractions an easy 35 minute drive.
