This is a great destination for year-round fun - close to ATV, snowmobile and hiking trails, as well as offering good canoeing and fishing. Well furnished and very comfortable, I am sure this cottage will be a popular location for activity lovers and relaxation seekers alike.

There's a lot of wood in this cottage and the log cabin appearance lends ambiance and character to the overall effect which is quite stunning. Log walls, cedar ceilings and a beautiful pine staircase all add to this. The upper floor has a neat kitchen and dining area with pine railings, overlooking the lounge area below. The newly renovated bathroom and one bedroom are also on this level.

The newly renovated lounge area has a wood stove and a cherry wood bar, along with a comfortable seating area and and there are sliding doors to outside. Two more bedrooms are on this level.

This is a well treed property which gives a lot of privacy, and there is a pathway to the waterfront from where you can launch the paddleboat and take a tour of this very pretty lake. The shoreline is normally shallow with a sandy walkout , however water levels fluctuate throughout the season so at times, it may be more gravel underfoot. There is some weed further out in the deeper water, but swimming if generally good closer to the shore.

With the Hastings Heritage Trail close by, ATV and snowmobile enthusiasts will have a lot of fun. Take day trips out to Bancroft or Silent Lake Provincial Park, or rent a canoe and explore the York River. Tihs is a destination where you can be as active or relaxed as the mood takes you.
