This great cottage has a lot to offer families looking for a superb location close to Kingston and the Thousand Islands, or who simply want to stay put and enjoy the sunny deck, hot tub, and great waterfront.
The approach to the cottage is down a farm lane and then along the waterfront so you already have a tantalising view of the lake before you arrive at your vacation home. And what a treat this is! On two levels facing the water, the attractively furnished and decorated cottage has everything you need for your time on the lake. The fully equipped oak kitchen makes cottage cooking a dream as it has everything you might need to whip up a gourmet meal and perhaps serve it on the south facing deck. The dining area is open to the living room which has comfortable sofas and chairs for relaxing in an evening. Completing the accommodation on the upper level is the master bedroom with king sized bed, ensuite bathroom and sliding doors to a private deck.
The main deck across the front of the property has patio furniture, an umbrella and a new 'Soft Tub' overlooking the lake.
Three more bedrooms, another bathroom and a large family room with TV and entertainment system are located on the lower floor which has sliding doors to a patio.
If this is beginning to sound like your dream cottage, then taking a look at the outside should firm up your decision. There's lot of grass for ball games and a dock stretching out into the lake for taking a chair to sit and relax by the water. The walkout to the water is shallow and gradually deepens with a sand bottom, and is great for swimming or just splashing about.
This is a quiet location that has great places to visit and actiivities nearby. Take a drive out to Prince Edward County for a day out in the vineyards; visit Kingston and tour the Thousand Islands on one of the many boat trips; explore the rolling countryside and the Rideau Valley. We think this is an outstanding vacation hideaway and one that won't be kept a secret for long.
