The cottage is newly renovated with 2 neat bedrooms off a separate hallway, and nicely laid out open-plan living, eating and kitchen areas. The owners have given a lot of thought to their guests' comfort and the kitchen is well equipped with a good range of small appliances . There is satellite TV with front input jacks (bring your games console), a DVD player and a CD stereo.
The shared, private beach is a short 5 minute stroll down a charming cottage road. The waterfront has awide sand beach and is surrounded by a flat grassed area for play with a treed perimeter. The shore is sand underfoot and deepens gradually for small children. Deeper water and a swim platform is further out.
Back at the cottage you will never feel a yearning for the beach, because the back yard is a beach! The sand back yard is unique with a charming platform deck overlooking it. The cottage comes well equipped with a variety of outdoor games.
Summer isn’t the only time to enjoy this all-season cottage. It has loads to offer in the fall and winter as well. The cottage has a warm, cozy propane fireplace in the living room to warm up with after you’ve spent the day in winter fun snowmobiling on the nearby OFSC trails or cross country skiing at beautiful Bon Echo Provincial Park. Or maybe you want a hockey family weekend and Nature’s Paradise is the perfect spot. It’s only an hour and 10 minutes from Scotia Bank Place, the home of the Ottawa Senators!
This cottage is wonderfully located for year round fun and is easily accessible from Toronto, Ottawa and Kingston. The owners welcome families and small groups of mature, responsible snowmobilers, hunters and anglers.
