Nestled in the woods with no visible neighbours, this is a great cottage for privacy and enjoying the wonderful views of the lake. It has one of the best beaches we have seen and guests here will enjoy a beautiful sandy waterfront and shallow walkout into deeper water. This is just great for children.
This older traditional cottage is set above the lake so there is a short stroll down a woodland lane to the water, but it is well worth the walk. The waterfront is wide with a lovely sandy beach, long dock out into the water for swimming and diving, and a firepit for evenings spent star gazing. The canoe and rowboat just add to the enjoyment of this beautiful frontage.
The cottage makes good use of space with an open concept kitchen, dining area and lounge, the latter having outstanding lake views. A deck is accessed from both the lounge and the screened in sun room which is great for spending early summer evenings. There is also a deck off the kitchen for catching the last rays of sun and for barbecuing.
Three bedrooms offer sleeping accommodation for 6 people and all bedrooms are comfortably furnished.
The location of this cottage makes it easily accessible from Toronto and Ottawa and is a pleasant drive to Kingston and the Thousand Islands.
