We just loved the overall look of this cottage with its row of red painted Muskoka chairs facing the lake, lots of grassy play areas, delightful dock on the water, and the wonderful screened sun room.
The owners have built the cottage themselves and their sense of colour and design permeates the interior making it feel reminiscent of a Cape Cod style beach house. The interior is bright, attractively furnished and very welcoming, with comfortable couches and a stone fireplace for cooler days. The newly decorated kitchen is a delight for the cook and the beautifully decorated dining area promises convivial gourmet evenings.
There are two comfortable bedrooms on the main floor with an additional sleeping area in the loft. Each level has its own bathroom. The screened sun room is ideal for morning coffee or taking aperitifs in the early evening overlooking the tranquil waters of Beaver Lake. Outside, there’s a choice of sitting on the Muskoka chairs or stepping down to the dock where you can take out the pedal boat or canoe, or just laze in the sun. The privacy level here is high as there are no neighbours.
Beulah Bay Cottage is in a great location, within an easy drive of Kingston and the Thousand Islands, Ottawa, or Prince Edward County for a day out in the vineyards. A peaceful and quiet area, but with great places to visit and activities on the doorstep.
