New everything! The owners of The Ridge on Corisande Bay had their previous cottage rented out with our agency and it proved to be a very popular rental. They have built a brand new cottage and we think you'll love this one even more!
Positioned to take full advantage of it's south-facing setting, The Ridge on Corisande places its focus on the waterfront. Every living space in this cottage has a view of the Lake Huron vista. A living room with a sectional couch, comfy chair, fireplace and rocking chair is a great setting for families to gather for games and conversation or to merely relax in the silence of a good book. A well-appointed kitchen will delight the family the cook. Enjoy your meals in the dining room or on the deck - either way you will be treated to the view and sounds of the lake.
There are 2 formal bedrooms, each with a queen sized bed, as well as a loft with 2 single beds. The master bedroom enjoys the benefit of an attached indoor-outdoor room. Floor to ceiling windows give an insulated view of the panorama, and if you feel like catching the breeze, the room converts to a screened porch. This room is a great retreat for parents or anyone in your group that just wants to relax in the most peaceful of places. And if you want full sun, you can just step out onto the deck.
Lake Huron is always interesting, and the shoreline here is no exception. The windswept beach and trees are a wonderful example of the rugged beauty of the Bruce. Swimming is fine on the large, flat rocks. Like everywhere on the Bruce, swim shoes are recommended here. If you want to venture out, Tobermory has enough to tempt you if you have a sweet tooth, and adventurers will already be well aware of the national parks close by, including Fathom Five and Cyprus Lake.
