Less than 200 meters from the shores of Lake Huron and set amonsgt the cedars is where you'll find this 1200 square foot cottage. In addition to being surrounded with an abundance of gorgeous natural scenery, the scenic sunsets that present themselves to this cottage should not be missed.
Plenty of large windows ensure sunlight brightens up the cottage, while allowing guests to view the fantastic surroundings. The kitchen, dining room, and living room have all been well prepared for guests. The living room features satellite TV, a DVD player with surround sound, and a propane fireplace for those nights that get just a bit too chilly.
A propane barbecue is available on the deck, allowing grill chefs to prepare their specialties just outside the kitchen and dining room. For those looking for some simpler and perhaps more social cooking, a fire pit, located not far from the front of the cottage, is available for late night marshmallow roasting under a blanket of stars.
The three bedroom cottage divides its sleeping quarters with a queen sized bed and adjacent three-piece washroom on the first floor, and two additional bedrooms upstairs, alongside a second washroom that features a Jacuzzi style tub, which overlooks Lake Huron.
No doubt you will want to visit the surrounding environment more closely after having seen it. The very sandy and expansive Singing Sands beach merely a two minute drive from the cottage provides, throughout the summer, generally warm and shallow water, making it ideal for children. In addition to this, there are several clearly marked hiking trails in the same locale and a short boardwalk that forms part of the Bruce Peninsula National Park.
If you are ever looking for something to do in the area, The National Parks are often hosting events and advising visitors to seek out any of the nearby attractions including the Cyprus Lake Campgrounds, the Grotto, the new Park Visitors Centre and a 30 meter high observation tower. Tobermory is close by - a great place to take in a few quaint shops and enjoy an ice cream cone or some sweets. And you are not far from Fathom Five, a Mecca for divers everywhere. Being so close to the tip of the Bruce makes Diamond Tower a unique and beautiful location for your stay!
